As of October 1, 2018, South Carolina's contract with ACT to provide WorkKeys testing at a cost to providers, will no-longer be the only way to receive your readiness to work assessment

certificate. Effective OCT. 9, 2020, South Carolina transitioned to using WIN Learning's Ready to Work assessments as the state-sponsored career readiness training, assessment, and credentialing program. South Carolina uses three state-branded South Carolina Ready to Work Assessments (Applied Mathematics, Reading for Information, and Locating Information) to measure foundational career readiness skills and qualify program participants for the new state-sponsored South Carolina Ready to Work Credential.
